A graduate of Klaipėda University, she has been teaching (including a course on Geopolitics) and doing analytical work (research focus on national and local elections; regional and local politics; women in politics, etc.) at the same university for more than twenty years.

The recent field of activities includes facilitation of collaboration between scientists from different fields of social and natural sciences, which is particularly relevant for port development.
