Vaidotas Šileika career started at Klaipeda Container Terminal began in 1995.

In 2002, he was promoted to the position of the Director general of the Company. 

Throughout 22 years of Mr. Šileika leadership, Klaipeda Container Terminal has grown into one of the leading companies of Klaipeda Port. Mr. V. Šileika has ensured the steady development of the infrastructure and superstructure of the terminal, investment into modern cargo handling equipment, regular training of company’s staff.

Mr. Vaidotas Šileika is also the president of Lithuanian association of stevedoring companies.

He has been elected as a President of the association for 3 three terms already.

Lithuanian association of stevedoring companies is committed to the growth of Klaipeda port maritime industry. It also represents stevedoring companies’ interest and promotes Lithuania as a maritime state.
